Hi, I'm Kendra!
I'm a Christchurch-based photographer
guided by my love of celebrating people.
This is what makes me the happiest when taking pictures - capturing stories, lives, loves, passions and talents. While humans are my favourite image subject, I also love everything from the liveliness of local events, to food and drinks in unique establishments, to handcrafted, locally-made products. I have a special love for supporting businesses who are family-run, led by heart and most importantly, a love for what they do.
Why choose me?
My style is candid and natural - I'm there to shine a spotlight on the awesomeness that already exists within my photo subject. I love to help people feel comfortable in front of the camera, and I want them to feel brilliant about themselves following our shoot.
When I'm not taking photos...
I'm living by the seaside in New Brighton, Christchurch, with the love of my life, Josh.
I'm working as an Account Manager at a creative agency 'Make', working remotely for Creative Bay of Plenty as their Website and Socials Coordinator, running a small business networking group, volunteering for Girl Guides NZ, and I'm also on the New Brighton Project Committee board!
As you may be able to tell, I LOVE all things community - supporting people, bringing them together and working alongside others to contribute to the betterment of society and environment as a whole!
I'm also an avid traveller, and take pics of all the wonderful places I visit. You can even buy a print if there's one that reminds you of a special place, time, or experience.
